Haut-Fourneau 6 Power Plant Seraing
The power station was part of Haut-Fourneau 6, the blast furnace installation in Seraing that was permanently shut down in 2008 and fully demolished in 2016. At the time, the power plant supplied the necessary energy for the furnace’s production process. While the main complex has since disappeared, the power station still stands. However, it has been decommissioned and is now partially dismantled. What remains is an impressive industrial structure that serves as a reminder of the region’s large-scale steel production.
