Bain de luxe
Nestled in the heart of France lies the impressive complex of Les Grands Thermes. Built between 1904 and 1906 by architect Benjamin Chaussemiche, this monumental structure is a prime example of the lavish Belle Époque style. Its architecture, a unique blend of Romanesque and classical influences, is reflected in its richly decorated halls featuring marble columns, colorful faience, and ornate ceilings.
Les Grands Thermes was constructed against a hillside to take full advantage of the natural thermal springs that emerge from the ground. Upon its opening in 1906, it quickly became a prestigious spa destination for the treatment of respiratory and skin conditions. The complex remained in medical use until 2004. Since then, it has been officially recognized as a historical monument and is now open to the public during heritage days and guided tours.
