Gasthaus Koch / Gasthof zum Sollinger Wald

The Gasthaus Koch, also known as Gasthof zum Sollinger Wald, was built around 1890 along a busy trade route and became a popular destination for holidaymakers. After 1945, it came into the hands of the Koch family, German resettlers from western Poland, who turned it into a spacious guesthouse with rooms, a restaurant, a clubroom, and two apartments. In the 1990s, visitor numbers declined, and the doors were closed. Since then, it has stood empty.
