Below the former metal factory is an old pump station that has been out of operation for many years. The space is largely flooded. A visible layer of oil floats on the water, originating from old pumps and electric motors that are partially submerged. The installations are heavily corroded; steel components are severely rusted and many parts are seized by oxidation.

Thick lime deposits and calcite formations have developed along pipes, valves, and walls. These were caused by long-term leakage and standing water. In several places, pipes and fittings are almost completely encrusted.

Control panels and switch cabinets are still present and largely intact, but clearly no longer functional. Gauges are frozen in place and warning labels have faded. The room shows a technical installation that was taken out of service and left as it was, after which groundwater, leaks, and time gradually took over.
