Car Cemetery Cyprus
Tucked away in the hills of Limassol lies one of Cyprus’ forgotten car graveyards. Dozens of rusting vehicles old cars, delivery vans and several buses rest quietly beneath the Mediterranean sun.
No signs, no fences, only the sound of cicadas and the whisper of wind through broken windows. Most of these vehicles date back to the 1960s–1980s, once used by local workers and small transport companies before being left behind when repairs became impossible or uneconomical.
Over the years, nature has taken control. Vines creep through the doors, paint has turned to rust, and the buses now stand as silent relics of another era reminders of how quickly human progress fades when left to time
