Villa Mistral
Villa Mistral was a remarkable abandoned villa located in the province of Liège, Belgium. Built around 1998, the house featured a Mediterranean design with warm ochre-colored walls, elegant wrought-iron balustrades, and decorative elements inspired by Southern France. Its interior felt more at home in Provence than in Belgium.
The villa featured an impressive open-plan living area with a mezzanine, a large kitchen, and numerous decorative details that remained visible long after the property was abandoned. Despite years of neglect, much of its original character survived, making it a popular destination among urban explorers and photographers.
After standing empty for many years, Villa Mistral was severely damaged by a fire in 2019. Large sections of the roof and upper floor were destroyed, marking the beginning of the villa’s final decline. What was once a luxurious dream home gradually became a ruin.
