Mansion of the Baron

Hidden behind trees stands a large abandoned villa often referred to by urban explorers as “Mansion of the Baron.” The elegant white building was once the residence of a wealthy family and resembles the country estates built by aristocratic or industrial families in Belgium during the late 19th and early 20th century.

Inside the mansion many rooms still contain antique furniture, chandeliers and personal belongings. A marble staircase leads through the entrance hall, while large salons and dining rooms show signs of decay as water and time slowly damage the interior.
