Centrale Textile

Deep in France lies an abandoned textile factory that was once an important part of the local industry. Like many larger factories from the first half of the 20th century, the complex had its own small power plant. This facility supplied the looms, motors, and machinery with electricity and heat, allowing the factory to operate largely independently.

Inside the machine hall, large generators, turbines, and control panels from specialized European manufacturers are still in place. The robust construction and clear layout show that the installation was designed for long-term, continuous operation. From a separate control room, the power generation was closely monitored using gauges and switches that supported the entire production process.

With the closure of the textile factory, the power plant also fell silent.
