Altes Wasserwerk
Somewhere in the eastern part of Germany stands an abandoned water treatment facility, once built to supply drinking water to the surrounding villages. The site consists of concrete basins, pump stations, and filtration units all now out of operation.
For many years, groundwater was treated here and distributed through a network of pipes. But after the regional water system was modernized and reorganized, this location became obsolete. Since then, the facility has been shut down and is slowly falling into decay.
