La Morgue Prélude

Somewhere in France, hidden behind an abandoned hospital, lies a small and cold morgue, forgotten by time. Once, the deceased were kept here in metal coolers, awaiting burial or cremation. The room remains largely intact: open refrigeration units, rusted tables, and an old stretcher resting in stillness. Everything echoes the atmosphere of a place where life ended and silence began. It feels like stepping into a space holding its final breath quiet, cold, and filled with memory.
