Swastika Church

Somewhere in Belgium stands an abandoned church known in the urbex community as the Swastika Church. This nickname comes from the striking floor tiles that feature several large swastika symbols. Although the symbol is often associated with the Third Reich, its presence in this context has a completely different origin.

The swastika is an ancient symbol found in many cultures, traditionally representing good fortune, harmony, and eternal movement. It was likely used here as a decorative element long before the Second World War.
