City Pool
Hidden deep within a major German city lies an abandoned swimming hall once a shining gem of early 20th-century architecture. Built in elegant Jugendstil style, it featured seahorse mosaics, vaulted ceilings, and grand design that reflected the luxury and innovation of its time.
For decades, it was a vibrant gathering place, until war and financial hardship cast their shadow. What once symbolized progress slowly fell into decay. Since its closure in the early 2000s, the building has been left to the elements a hauntingly beautiful space where the past lingers in silence.
Occasionally, cultural events still breathe life into the structure, and guided tours offer a glimpse into its forgotten grandeur
