History
Hopital Geriatrique du Bois D’Havre was built in 1957, originally to be a sanatorium however later evolved into nursing home. Its capacity was circa 144 beds
spread over three levels. In 2010, it was deemed to not meet accreditation standards and therefore plans were put forward to build a leading nursing home,
the largest of its kind having 221 beds available. 163 of the former people from Hopital Geriatrique du Bois D’Havre are now housed in the new building.
